Onward and Upward

Life seems to finally be changing for the better for me after a few hard weeks of being stalled out and hitting rock bottom in most every way. After a year of hard work, AxL Snaks Beer Biskits will be rolling again soon and should be in stores within three weeks. We've already received our first $450 order and we haven't even begun to sell.

I've finished my book proposal and am just awaiting feedback from some friends for the final edits about my Segway Adventure across America. I've started learning how to program HTML again and have done a lot of work on the website for this new adventure I hope to undertake in the next few months. Additionally, tshirts that I'm selling to raise the funds for the journey finally arrived yesterday, too.

It's funny how when life seems darkest, that if you push through and believe, it will soon get brighter. This is what I hope to be the first of more journal entries as my life has finally taken a turn and is heading in the direction I want to be going. I felt like I was sliding backwards down a long, hard rocky slope as I scrambled with every bit of resolve I had to hold on. I feel like I was beat to a pulp as I fell down a long mountain but the good news is, I hit the bottom so hard that I've bounced back up a few feet and am climbing again. I'm bruised and beat up, but I know that every body heals in time.

I can't see the top, but I know it's up there. I don't know how long it will take, but I know I can reach it. I'd like to say thank you to LoLo for believing in me even when I didn't. That gave me the strength to keep trying to reach my dreams. I'd like to say thank you to Tom for being the friend who is there no matter what...with the best advice anyone could ever hear.

I'd say more, but I've got some climbing to do and a summit to reach.
